ADHD, Attention Issues & Executive Functioning

Attention-Related Disorders, including ADHD, are neurodevelopmental conditions that can significantly impact daily functioning, academically, professionally, and interpersonally. Symptoms often include difficulty with sustained attention, distractibility, impulsivity, poor task initiation or completion, and challenges in emotional regulation and time management.

We offer specialized support for both adolescents and adults who are experiencing attention and executive functioning difficulties, whether formally diagnosed or undiagnosed but impairing quality of life. Our therapeutic process begins with a thorough clinical assessment to identify patterns affecting focus, self-regulation, and task execution. We then collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness-based interventions, and skills training tailored to executive functioning deficits.

Importantly, treatment is not aimed at changing who you are, but at understanding how your brain processes information, responds to environmental demands, and organizes tasks. We focus on building internal resources and external structures that support adaptive functioning, self-compassion, and long-term resilience.

We also coordinate with referring providers, such as psychiatrists and educational specialists, when needed to ensure an integrated care approach.
